Labnet International Represents at Pittcon 2018

Lab science conventions give attendees the opportunity to come together with exhibitors, experts, researchers, and other key players in the laboratory industry. At this year’s Pittcon in Orlando, Florida, Labnet International is joining scores of other exhibitors and thousands of attendees for networking, lectures, expositions, educational resources, and more from February 26 to March 1. Attendees of Pittcon come from countries around the world and work in industries ranging from aerospace to transportation.

Alligator Alley and Highlights of Pittcon 2018

One of the most significant highlights of Pittcon is the engaging exhibits and interactive experiences that you can enjoy while you’re there. Alligator Alley is at the center of the exposition floor, featuring a myriad of exciting booths and activities designed to engage expo attendees.

• Live Product Demonstrations in “The Demozone”: There are two areas on the expo floor that have been designated for live product demonstrations. Visitors can enjoy these short and engaging presentations from industry leaders throughout the course of the expo.
• Lab Gauntlet: If you’re looking for some friendly competition, head to the Lab Gauntlet where you can be challenged with fun lab activities. Participants with the highest scores have the opportunity to earn prizes, including a t-shirt for those who give all of the Gauntlet activities a try.
• Virtual reality: You might have seen some virtual reality technology being used, but you will have the chance to try VR devices out firsthand at Pittcon. A number of virtual reality experiences will be available for interested participants.
• Special guests: In the true spirit of a convention in Orlando, American alligators will be making an appearance on the expo floor. On Wednesday, February 28, handlers will bring alligators to Alligator Alley and give attendees the opportunity to take a photo with one of these scaly creatures.
